My name is Dan Harrington. I am a 52 year old father of 3 grown young women and husband to one wife. My day job is being a mechanical engineer designing construction equipment. My real job is being an elder in a dynamic church that my family had the privilege of helping to start.
A couple of years into the beginning of this church it became clear to me that my 34 year losing battle with pornography, fantasy, and selfish sex was in so much conflict with what I believe in my heart that something had to change. I began telling my story, being truthful about my addiction, out loud, with my church. An amazing thing happened, not only did I begin to have freedom from the power of sex but so did other men and women in our community.
Not long after that we began a recovery ministry at our church for people dealing with all kinds of different addictions and enslaving problems. I have been sober for 6 years now and am experiencing increasing intimacy with my Creator through my relationship with Jesus Christ. He is restoring and redeeming the years that I allowed to be stolen from me and my family.
I want people everywhere to find the LIFE and freedom and purpose that has been unleashed in me through a daily, intimate relationship with their Creator through His Son, Jesus Christ.
