I have followed your "XXX"church (a bit of an oxxymoron) and tried to read most of your blogs etc.  I have also seen and listened to your ministry via the electronic church.  While I do not question the motive of your hearts I do believe your methods are a "truth out of balance."  Obviously scripture makes it clear that the result is an abomination.  Please realize we are all deceived at some point in our lives, myself included.  Why do we think we  have to dress Jesus in the world to reach the world.  We definitely do not have to use filth to deliver someone from filth.  Come one guys, a penis?  Porn Sucks?  (sucks) is a verb that denotes action.  Does this glory God? I am not sure if this is immaturity or just a careless disregard for the testimony of Christ.  Do we really think we can set evil before our eyes and not stimulate an evil result.  Or at best make mockery of the purity of Christ?  Jesus said: If I (Christ) be lifted up I will draw all men unto me.  What are you trusting in for your drawing card?  If we are to minister to others in bondage then we can do so without sending the infected into the intensive care units. Yes, God can deliver us but we must use wisdom regarding our environment. Are we so prideful as to believe we are above temptation?  Why not set up outside the porn shows?  If your ministry is of God he will bring the desired results without compromising your testimony.  I guess your can add me to your hate list (which I think Jesus would have earned first place my today's standards) or your can believe the Lord will not be mocked and that he cares enough to use different messengers for correction and inspirations.  Remember "Grace" is the power to do "right" not an opportunity to do whatever feels right in our own eyes which leads to the same corruption today as in the book of Judges.

Dear Craig,

You are misleading these people into believing that God accepts them in their sin.   Since you are under this deception, I am going to try and share with you why we do what we do and hope that you will understand that Jesus did not come to this earth simply to pardon sin.  He came to set us free from sin and no sinner will enter the kingdom.  If you continue in your sin, there remains no longer a sacrifice for sin.  That means that Jesus blood no longer covers you.  Until you repent, you do not know God.  If you do not know God, you are not saved.

Does the world hate you, Craig?  Do you care if the world hates you?

Let's look at Jude 22-23, " And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh."

Let's look at 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, " Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (homosexuals), Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Now let's read that in The Message, " 9-11 Don't you realize that this is not the way to live? Unjust people who don't care about God will not be joining in his kingdom. Those who use and abuse each other, use and abuse sex, use and abuse the earth and everything in it, don't qualify as citizens in God's kingdom. A number of you know from experience what I'm talking about, for not so long ago you were on that list. Since then, you've been cleaned up and given a fresh start by Jesus, our Master, our Messiah, and by our God present in us, the Spirit.

Do you see how this piece of junk takes the warning out of the text concerning hell's fire?  And it does make it sound like Doug and me are the bad guys and you're the good guy.  But if you read this from the KJV and the original text which you can find on blueletterbible.org, you will see that the KJV is correct and The Message is watering down the message.

Where is the part about there no longer being a sacrifice for sin?  It is gone.  Where is the part about it being a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God?  It is missing.  Why?  Because this book was written by the enemy to deceive people into believing they can sin and get a little spank and still get into heaven.  You tell porn stars God loves them.  The Bible says that if they don't repent, they will inherit hell's fire.  You tell them God hates the sin but loves the sinner.  What is going to be in hell?  Their sin or them?  You don't love them.  You hate them because you are not giving them the real message which is to repent for the kingdom of God is at hand.  That was Jesus message.  2 Tim. 3 tells us the reason for these perilous times.  It is because people have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof.  That is the missing element.  Do you believe, Craig, that God can POWERFULLY free these people from the sin they are in?

You do not know Jesus or the apostles.  You do not know how strongly they preached against sin and judged sin of every class of people.  Think about Ananias and Sapphira who were killed for lying.  Or look at Acts 13 and while you are reading think about this.  Does Paul concern himself about offending Elymas?  What is the "sign and wonder" that convinces the proconsul that the message is true?

Craig, you do not know the Lord.  You are giving these folks more sugar coating to their sin.  What a shame that you are so full of deceit and all fraud, a son of the devil, you are the enemy of all righteousness, and you pervert the straight ways of the Lord.

You have the favor of man.  We do not care about sin nor concern yourself with how grieved God is over what is happening or how these little boys were going to the motorcycle convention were being escorted by these whores and defiled.  Jesus said it would be better for them to tie a millstone around their neck and be cast into the ocean.  Picture that.  You are descending at unbelievable speed to the bottom while your body parts are exploding.  Jesus says that this is better than what these folks will get when they stand before a Holy God.  We know how much God hates sin.  When you gloss over sin, you cause people to conclude that the cross is no big deal.  You have no idea what it cost God to die to take away the sin of the world.

We are not trying to get people to join the Christian club.  They must come to God in repentance.

Christians write to you looking for answers to these types of questions and you simply post them on your web site under the category "hate mail" without ever addressing their questions. I see dozens of photos of the two of you with links to every story, press release and talk show you have been involved in, yet the only portrayal of Jesus in your efforts comes in the form of a "bobble head" or a T-shirt with the message "Jesus Loves Porn Stars". Jesus loves people, not professions. You may be getting your 15 minutes now, but is that worth giving up your eternity? You twist the message like Barnum and Bailey in an effort to do nothing but self promote. Have you ever heard of LOMMOY? It stands for Less Of Me More Of You. Perhaps if you could step out of the lime light for a moment you would reach a broader audience and feel like you deserve a title more Godly than "the 2 goofballs". Jesus spent time with the likes of prostitutes to heal and show compassion. He did not do it looking for another great photo op to post on his web site.

I don't know if this is actually going to get to Craig Gross or not; but I am going to continue as if I believed I am actually talking to him. I stumbled across your site today and was saddened by the message you're promoting. Because the truth is that this is giving you all sorts of press that you are profiting from and I hope that hurts you inside when you think about it. There is nothing wrong with the sexual curiosity that most human beings experience. What is wrong is people thinking they are garbage and being hurt and consumed by people like you telling them parts of themselves are evil. That's just stupid and if I beliea ved in God of punishment and terrorism then I honestly believe he would be targeting people like you not people in the porn industry. Shame on you and the lies you spread. Someday I hope that you come forward with the real sin in your life.

Okay, I'm confused.

I went to your site because a Christian male friend of mine is struggling with sex addiction and porn usage, and I was hoping I could find some resources to help with that sort of thing. When I visited your store, I found "Jesus loves porn stars" Bibles and t-shirts. Personally, I can't imagine any Christian wearing those t-shirts, at least not when they are trying to carry off a Christian image. The friends I have who would wear them would think they were sexy (people would joke and call them porn stars and maybe flirt with them) and funny, and they'd like being able to shock people by connecting Jesus' name to porn. As a non- Christian, it doesn't really matter to me, but I know if someone started pushing Bibles and tracts on me in one of those shirts, I'd just burst out laughing. I'm sure if Jesus is divine he does love porn stars and everyone else, but the design of the shirt just looked like something I'd buy in Hot Topic to make fun of Jesus, not something my sister, a devout Christian, would have in her closet.

The next thing I noticed was your videos. After the t-shirts, I thought you'd go to strip bars and whatnot and hand out your Bibles along with hugs, pats on the back, encouragement, maybe free food and friendship, but your videos show you waving signs and screaming at people about Hell. I seriously doubt the tiresome old Hell threat is going to work on anyone, particularly people in the porn industry and those who spend money on porn. Hell is a part of the Christian doctrine, but you're dealing with non-believers here. Why not tell them who Jesus is, if you want them saved? Why not ask them why they are in the business in the first place instead of threatening them? Who is honestly going to seek you out for help after you've shouted at them that they are burning?

Anyway, I found your site basically worthless. It seems like you're interested in shocking people and getting attention, and maybe a couple of people will be benefitted through your actions, but it doesn't seem like you do much to tackle the problems at all. Does your church really believe this type of advertising is the best for everyone ... Maybe for some folks your church is trying to reach, but certainly not to my young daughter who questioned your sign. Yes, they can read at that age and yes they do ask many questions. There are some topics that are best to be discussed when it is age appropriate. I, as a parent, am truly offended by your signs that line the street on the way to school. If you truly care about reaching souls, I think you could be a little more tactful with your advertising.

Show me ONE place in the scriptures where GOD uses hip or fun tactics to relate to an issue as serious as this.
