Wow! I have been enraptured by this text lately. I want this to be my heartbeat. How often do we see following the path of God as giving joy to the heart? How often do we see his commands as radiant? I want to see Jesus in everything I do. I don’t want to walk without God! (Tweet This)
Sometimes, it’s easy to get side-tracked. Often, this begins with some of Satan’s misguiding questions. We begin to question if it is really all that bad to look at porn one more time. We wonder if God really knows what is best for our situation. We ask, if God made us sexual beings, why does he say we can’t have sex before marriage and oppose stuff like porn. Instead of focusing on always drawing closer to the Lord, we try and get as close to the “line” as possible without going over.
But when we start to see how good it is to follow God, when we start to see his face, everything changes! Instead of trying to just make it to Heaven, we instead spend our energy falling deeply in love with Jesus! Matthew 5:8 tells us that “blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see Jesus!” Are you ready to see Jesus? Are you ready for overflowing joy in your heart? Are you ready to see his face and know his love? This is the time to make it happen, don’t wait another day!

When we start to see how good Jesus is, when our heart is filled with joy and our eyes are opened to his light, our lives can be dramatically changed! Don’t give up hope!
