Has Pornography Changed You?

by Craig Gross on November 7th, 2017 in Men, Women, Couples, Spouses

Does pornography use change a person? This is a question we hear a lot.

Some people say “without a doubt.” Some say “not at all.”

The truth is there is no conclusive scientific evidence one way or the other.

So, here’s what we are asking … Will you take a short anonymous survey?

We’d love to hear what you have to say.

Fill out my online form.

I like that you’re honest about the lack of solid evidence one way or another and I’ll be interested in the results of your survey. I respect Christians who have enough integrity to refrain from flimsy or cliched arguments against things they don’t approve of. Everyone sees through those fibs. I remember being told as a young teen in a youth group that premarital sex is no fun, really, and just leads to things like STDs, unwanted pregnancies, etc. Truth is it’s TONS of fun and doesn’t have to lead to any of those things. That doesn’t, of course, make it right, but we do everyone a disservice when we pretend that temptation shouldn’t really be tempting to anyone who’s “spiritual” enough.

Anyway, yeah… my answer would be yes, how can it NOT change someone to stare at and internalize those images and the view of others that they entail?
