I have a confession to make…. I am a Christian and I don’t read my Bible as much as I should. Wow. That feels better. You see I make a promise to myself about once a month that I am going to get “serious” about reading the Bible and I am going to read through the whole thing. You can probably guess the outcome on these promises, they are never fulfilled. Well something is different this time, something really different. I have actually made it to the end of Genesis. Yep I actually made it through the first book of the Bible. It feels nice. It is incredible to read the word of God in the order that it happens. From Adam and Eve to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Its exciting. So this time is different I think. I believe I actually am going to get through the word of the Lord. I am pumped about it. There are other books that I have had on my list, but it’s time they take a back seat to the most important book of all. I challenge you to get into the Word as well. You don’t have to read the whole thing like I am, but just read some of it. It is powerful. It is one of the things that we overlook as Christians that the word of God is here for us to digest and be blessed by. So go READ!
