So I graduated college this past weekend. Clint and Craig and their fam’s showed up and surprised me the morning of and came to the ceremony (very boring might i add but I graduated so who cares). They honored me with this blog post. Thanks guys. The pic is ridiculous and I aplogize.

Um, yea it is a pretty sweet book.
Every Young Man’s Battle: Strategies for Victory in the Real World of Sexual Temptation
Too long of a title but basically this was a huge wake up call for me when I was 16. The cool thing about this book is that it is practical. I knew that was not supposed to take a second look at a girl but i did not know how not to. A way that the author suggests is bouncing your eyes…I still bounce the eyes today.
Questions You Can’t Ask Your Mama
Old school XXXCHURCH. A little trivia this book was the first book ever from X3. 68 and a half questions that you cant ask your mom because well she is your mom. The book is in Q+A format which makes it a easy read. Great to pass around to friends and maybe your mom.
Velvet Elvis
At Bible college this was good read because it helped me put in perspective some stuff I was wrestling with. Chapter six is a must read – “Who we are now.”
Following Jesus: Biblical Reflections on Discipleship
A little stuffy and over your head is good sometimes. NT Wright is British theologian and I bet he does not like hip hop music. It is a good book if you want to be stretched a bit in your thinking of Jesus.
Adam’s Return: The Five Promises of Male Initiation
I am reading this right now and it is kicking my behind. Here is a quote for you “Men have always seemed to need a whomp on the side of the head, a fall from the proverbial tower, their own blood humiliation (which was circumcision in some cultures)…” Eh, ouch…
