Grace and Forgiveness – What’s Next In March

by Craig Gross on February 28th, 2014 in The Haps

Grace and ForgivenessSo, how did you enjoy last month’s theme “Recovery Roads”? Recovery is very much a process and I really hope that we gave you a lot to think about as you navigate the long, and often difficult road of sexual purity and sobriety.

We hope that you hang with us throughout March where our theme is “Grace and Forgiveness and How We Don’t Understand Them.” One of the most difficult things for people to grasp is the never-ending grace of God. This is a big obstacle for many when it comes to following Jesus but it’s also a huge concept that we need to grasp as we experience recovery.

This month we will be talking a lot about the true nature of grace, how forgiving others actually helps you, and how these things all play a big part in one’s recovery process.

Please check out the site daily as we will always have something brand new for you on the home page.  Also, take a minute to show us some love on Twitter and Facebook and have a chance to win a free Skull T-shirt.

I’d define grace as just accepting the chance for a new life and forgiveness that Jesus offers us.

  • Randy Mahoney

I would define grace as a pardon for something wrong/bad that has been done. I would also add that this pardon is something we are unable to attain or earn, but it has been freely given to us in Jesus Christ.

Grace is mysterious, yet it has the power to bring freedom as well.

  • Casdawg

Grace is something God does, not something I do. Let’s stop trying to earn it.
