February is a complicated month for many of us. If we’re married, it’s likely that we feel a bit of pressure to be romantic and to “keep the fire alive”. If we’re single, we may be feeling extra lonely, and even a little hopeless or cynical about love. And if we’re dating, it’s likely that the temptation to be physical is higher this month than others. In our broken world, when we’re bombarded by Valentine’s Day products, romantic comedies and lingerie ads, it can be easy to focus on the things we don’t have rather than the things we do have, and so many in our community have shared how this month can be an especially vulnerable time for falling into looking at pornography or buying into the hookup culture.
