You all know about  Shellie R. Warren? She is my sister. Well, not exactly. We are not related but Shellie is like family here at XXXchurch. She has been writing on the site for three years now and is amazing. Her first book was great, her second book will blow you away. It releases today in fact. You can find out all about it HERE.

After the book was finished, Shellie wrote more. She wrote a workbook as well as 15 video teachings that go along great with the book. This is what makes up the new X3pure workshop for Women. Check it out at X3pure.com

Workshop Outline

Shellie R. Warren is a woman who has a passion for all things sexual…in the sense of sexual wholeness and purity. As an author, public speaker and teen mom coordinator for a local chapter of a national non-profit in Nashville, TN, she aggressively devotes her time to helping women recover from sexual abuse and misuse. This online workshop is what she calls the “interactive audio book” to accompany her second release, “Pure Heart: A Woman’s Guide to Sexual Integrity”. Her original title? “Eyes Opened; Legs Closed”. After viewing some of this footage, we think you’ll understand why.

Getting Back to the Garden

This chapter walks us back to the Garden of Eden so that we can be reminded of what God’s original plan was for sex. It speaks to the beauty of oneness and covenant. Taboo? Perhaps. Attainable? Definitely.

Have Sex…FOR WHAT?

This two-part series addresses the purpose of sex along with both the spiritual and physical consequences that come when it’s used for other reasons than God’s initial intention. Everything has a “reason for which it’s created”. Sex is definitely not an exception.

Sex Always Has Strings (sometimes it’s rope…sometimes it’s floss)

Sex isn’t just about intercourse. Any kind of sexual activity should be under the covering of marriage. Certain acts, like oral sex, are between the husband and wife; but this two-part section also deals with, what Shellie calls, “sexual additives”…things like masturbation and porn that are often used to pacify our sexual appetites, yet never satisfy. We’ll explore why.

Counterfeits: How Sex Is Abused by the Media

Ever look up the synonyms of the word “counterfeit” on Dictionary.com? You might be surprised at what you see. One word that’s listed is “Hollywood”. The last place people should learn about God’s will for their lives is in a magazine or on a television screen. Don’t believe us? You’ll see.

Sexual Misuse

In Shellie’s first book, “Inside of Me: Lessons of Lust, Love and Redemption”, she coined a phrase, “sexual misuse”. In life, there are sexual violations that happen to us (abuse), but then, sometimes even do to those very things, there are poor sexual choices that we make on our own. That would be sexual misuse.

Sex’s Hamster Wheel

It took the Israelites 40 days to take an 11-day trip. In one instance, it took Shellie 15 years to get over one man. Her mother says that “Experience prevents experience from being your teacher.” She’s hoping this two-part series will spare you the time…and the drama of having to spend 15 years of your life on something that you probably should’ve avoided in the first place.

Treat Me Like a Lady

Sexiness is rampant, yet being a lady seems to be a lost art. In God’s design for woman, he desired for her to be lovely…delicate…feminine. It’s not a sign of weakness. In it, there is actually a lot of power…once you know how to use it…and why.

Patience Is Virtuous

One of the Scriptures that Shellie holds on to for dear life when it comes to her own DAY-BY-DAY sexual recovery is Philippians 4:6, “Be anxious for nothing.” Something that many of us miss is that “nothing” also includes our healing from brokenness. Love is patient, right? Love yourself enough to be patient with the process. This is another two-part that will show you how.

Restoration

Christ told us in Matthew 17:20-22 that some things only come by prayer and fasting. Shellie’s motto is “Sometimes a mountain is moved…one rock at a time.” The “Past Fast” is what she created—and used—to reconcile, by way of true forgiveness, with the man who sexually abused her. It changed her life. Completely.

The Gateway Drugs of Sexual Addiction

This is a two-part series of Shellie speaking at an event on the topic of the “sexual mouse holes” that can lead to a much bigger problem. The Scriptures Luke 11:24-26 (NKJV) come to mind: “When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return from my house from which I came.’ And when he comes, he finds it swept and put in order. Then he goes and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter and dwell there; and the last state of that man is worse than the first.”
